  • From that point there are 3.5km of hiking around 1 hour to go and 1 hour to get back.
  • The Trail is up and down, not flat and on rainy season it will most probably be muddy, therefore, we recommend bringingclosed shoes.
  • The walk is intermediate (it’s not easy) and it’s not recommended for small children, older adults, pregnant women or people with health problems.

When you get to the waterfalls you will find space to seat, restrooms and drinkable filtered water.
At the falls it is allowed to swim (if the watercourse allows). So, if you're looking to take a dip in the water, you should definitely visit in the summer. If, on the other hand, you want to see the impressive waterfall, the rainy season is the best time.
We are located in a tropical area and, for this reason the climate is changeable so, even in the dry season there could be small rains and on the other hand, in rainy season you can find sunny mornings or even full days without rain. That is why its impossible to predict how is the weather going to be the day of your visit.
The latest time to stay at the falls is 3:30pm, however on rainy season could be earlier. Because of that, we recommend to get in before 1pm so you can enjoy the place.
On dry season and when there is horseback tour (from Monday to Saturday) our guides can help you to jump from the middle of the falls, only around 10am to 11am approximately, therefore we recommend to get in early so you can arrive on time.
Once you have enjoyed your time at the waterfall, it’s the moment to get back (the way to go out is the same of the way to get in).
Sometimes, if the drivers have space on the 4x4, it’s possible to take it only for the way back. The cost is $12 (cash only) but take into account that the people taking both ways tour have priority and it WON’T be space in some hours.
When you arrive back to the parking you will find the showers and changing rooms at the place before say goodbye to this day-long adventure.
For the safety of your pets and yours, pets are not allowed, except service dogs with leash (must present the dog’s license and handler ID).
